We are a group of interns from the New Zealand Graduate School of Education. Over the past six weeks we have been at Christchurch South Karamata Intermediate. We have all been blown away by the hard working, creative and committed work of the students (and teachers!) at this school.
Our team of six interns has been spread across the school, supporting and learning in the pods, and in the specialist subjects. Our focus during this time has been to promote student choice and agency while developing the skills and knowledge required to take place in the modern world.
Following on from the digital work during lockdown students have been continuing to make use of the digital workspaces: Seesaw and Hāpara. We would encourage that friends and whānau take a look at the amazing work students are doing online.
Sadly, week 11 (22 - 26 June) was our final week of training at Christchurch South Karamata Intermediate. We would love any feedback from students, families and whānau. If you have any feedback you would like to give please do this via firstname.lastname@example.org. All the best for the rest of the year!
